Editorial Guidelines

Last updated: September 2026

These guidelines set the standard for every article Edutemps publishes. Our Editorial Policy explains how articles are researched, reviewed and updated.

Accuracy

Facts, figures and regulatory requirements must match their source. We name the source of key statistics. If we can't confirm a detail, we leave it out.

Current with the Standards for RTOs 2025

Compliance articles are written against the Standards for RTOs 2025 and current ASQA guidance. If an article refers to the previous Standards, it says so. When the Standards or ASQA guidance change, we update the affected articles and their "last updated" date.

Plain English

We write for RTO managers, compliance staff, trainers and candidates. We use short sentences and everyday words. We spell out acronyms the first time they appear, and we explain what a requirement means in practice.

Disclosure

Edutemps provides recruitment, compliance, learning design and executive consulting services. Some articles mention these services. Figures from our own work are labelled as Edutemps data, so you can tell them apart from public sources.

Report an error

If you spot an error or something out of date, email info@edutemps.com.au or use our contact page. Include the article link and what needs fixing. We check every report and correct confirmed errors.
