About Edutemps

Editorial Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This policy explains how Edutemps researches, writes, reviews and updates the articles on our website. It covers our compliance, recruitment and learning design articles.

Who writes and reviews our articles

Our articles are written by the Edutemps Compliance Team or by named Edutemps staff, including Andrew Stuart, Managing Director, and Zoe Carter, Head of Recruitment.

Before publication, most articles are also reviewed by a second person: the Edutemps Compliance Team, which includes former ASQA auditors, or Andrew Stuart. Each article shows its writer, its reviewer where it has one, and the date it was last updated.

How we research

We start with primary sources: the Standards for RTOs 2025, ASQA guidance, the Australian Qualifications Framework, NCVER data, the ATO and Fair Work. We add what we have learned from working with RTOs since 2011. Where a figure comes from our own records, we label it as Edutemps data.

Fact-checking

Before an article goes live, we check facts, figures and regulatory references against their sources. Anything we can't confirm is removed.

Keeping articles up to date

We review articles when the Standards, ASQA guidance or other source material changes. When we update an article, we change its "last updated" date and note what changed.

Corrections

If you think something is wrong, email info@edutemps.com.au with the article link and the detail you want us to check. We check every report. If we confirm an error, we correct the article and update its date.

Our Editorial Guidelines set out the standards each article is written to.
